We use pythagoras theorem,

(hypo)² = (height) ² + (side) ².........(1)

Here hypo is the length of the chord(opposite to 90°)

Height and side are the radii of the circle = 6 cm

Substituting the values in equation (1),

(hypo)² = +

Hypo = 36 + 36 = 36(1+1) = 62 cm

Hypotenuse = length of the chord = 62 cm
