draw perpendicular ov on chord st ,it will basic record St, S V is = to VT

ov\os= cos 60

ov\14=1\2

ov=7

sv\ so= sin60=√3\2

sv\14 =√3\2 =sv=7√3

st=2 sv =2×7√3=14√3

area of triangle =1\2 × ST × OV = 1\2× ST × ov

1\2 ×14√3×7

=49√3= 84.77cm sq

area ofsector osut= 120\360×π (14) sq

=1\3×22\7×196=205.33 cm sq

area of segment sut= area of sector OS UT - area of triangle ost

=205.33- 84.77 = 120.56 cm sq
