The length of each piece of the cord is :-

143/2 = 71.5

71.5/26 = 2.675

Original length of chord = 143/2 m.

When it is cut into 26 pieces,

Length of each piece :-

⇒ (143/2) ÷ 26

⇒ 143 / (2× 26)

⇒ 11 / 4

2.75m.

The length of each piece is 2.75m.
