From given, we have,

A cinema hall has a volume of 7500 m². It is required to have a reverberation time of 1.5 seconds.  

Given data T = 1.5 sec; V = 7500m²

Formula: Reverberation Time

T = 0.167V / ∑as

Total absorption

∑as = 0.167V / T

= (0.167 × 7500 ) / 1.5

= 835 OWU

The total  absorption in the hall should be 835 open window units
