Answer:

is this the full question ??? I will edit the answer when the question full question is added

x= number of 100 rupee tickets

y= number of 120 rupee tickets

x + y = 200. 1

Total value

100 x + 120 y = 22600 2

Eliminate y

multiply (1)by -120

Multiply (2) by 1

-120 x -120 y = -24000

100 x + 120 y = 22600

Add the two equations

-20 x = -1400

/ -20

x = 70

plug value of x in (1)

1 x + 1 y = 200

70 + y = 200

y = 200 -70

y = 130

y = 130

x= 70 number of 100 rupee tickets

y= 130 number of 120 rupee
