Perimeter of triangle = a+b+c

=4.5+5.5+6cm

=16cm

Therefore the perimeter of the triangle is 16cm.

The area of ΔABC is 32cm.

If the external point of the Δ is A, then

AQ = AR, Where AQ = 4.5 cm, thus AR = 4.5cm

Similarly,

If the external point of the Δ is C, then

PC = CQ, Where PC = 5.5 cm, thus CA = 5.5cm

If the external point of the Δ is B, then

PB = ER, Where ER = 6 cm, thus PB = 6 cm

Perimeter of Δ ABC

= 4.5 + 4.5 + 6 + 6 + 5.5 + 5.5

= 32

Thus, the area of ΔABC is 32cm.
