Answer: exterior

Step-by-step explanation:

As origin (0,0) is the centre and it passes through the poing (5/2, 0), the distance between (0,0) and (5/2, 0) will be the radius of the circle.

So the radius of the circle is 5/2

Now lets find the distance between centre and the point (5/2,5/2)

Distance =√{(5/2 - 0)²+(5/2 - 0)²}

=√(25/4 +25/4)=√50/4 =(5√2)/2

Here the distance is greater than the radius of the circle. Hence the point lies in the exterior of the circcle
