Area of circle=22/7* R^2
where, 22/7 is value of pie and R refer is radius
Given= diameter(D)= 28 cm
Radius= D/2
So, R=28/2 = 14cm
So, Area of circle is 22/7 * 14*14= 616cm^2

The circle's area is 616 cm^{2}.

Given:

The side of the square=28 cm

To find:

The circle's area

Solution:

We know that the circle has been drawn inside the square and so, its diameter will be equal to the length of the square's side.

The circle's diameter=square's side

Let the radius of the circle be r.

So, 2r=28

r=28/2

r=14 cm

Now, the required area=πr^{2}

=22/7×14×14

=22×2×14

=44×14

=616 cm^{2}

Therefore, the circle's area is 616 cm^{2}.
