A circle of 2cm is cut out from a square piece ofan aluminium sheet ofside 6cm what is tha area of the left over aluminium sheet ? (Take π =3•14

Circle:

r = 2cm

Area = πr²

=3.14*2*2

=12.56cm²

Square:

a = 6cm

Area= a²

=6²

=36cm²

Area left over = 36-12.56

=23.44cm²
