Bonjour !!

Since ; circumference = 88 cm. = 2πr

==> (2 × 22/7 × r = 88)

==> (r = 44 ÷ 22/7)

==> (r = 14 )Area of circle cut = πr^2 = (22/7 × 14 × 14) =616 cm2

Area of square paper = s^2 = 30^2 = 900 cm2

Area of paper left = 900-616 = 284 cm2

Answer: 284 cm2

Hope it helps .
