Given data :-

A circle of radius 120 cm is divides into 5 equal sectors . [ r = 120 cm ]

Solution:-

We know that circle is of 360°

{ Accoding to given.} Circles divided into 5 equal sectors it mean's angles of circle is also divided in 5 equal parts.

Hence,

—› Angle of circle = 360°/5

—› Angle of circle = 72° ........ ( 1 )

Now, to find length of the arc of each of the sector we use fomula .

—› Length of arc of sector

= {θ/360°} × 2πr

—› Length of arc of sector

= {72°/360°} × 2 × 22/7 × 120

—› Length of arc of sector

= 0.2 × 44/7 × 120

—› Length of arc of sector

= 0.2 × 44/7 × 120

—› Length of arc of sector

= 0.2× 5280/7

—› Length of arc of sector

= 1056/7

—› Length of arc of sector

= 150.8571 cm ( aprrox )

Hence, the length of the arc of each of the sector is 150.8571 cm (aprrox).
