Answer :

  • The area of the left over aluminium sheet is 23.44 cm²

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find,

  • The area of the left over aluminium sheet ?

Solution,

Given that,

  • Radius of the circle = 2 cm
  • Side of the square aluminium sheet = 6 cm
  • π = 3.14

Therefore, We can get the area of the left over aluminium sheet by, subtracting the area of circle from area of square.

Area of square = ( Side )²

= ( Side )²

= ( 6 )²

= 36 cm²

∴ Area of the square is 36 cm²

Now, Area of circle,

Area of circle = πr²

= πr² ....... ( π = 3.14 )

= 3.14 × ( 2 )²

= 3.14 × 4

= 12.56 cm²

∴ Area of the circle is 12.56 cm²

Area of the left over aluminium sheet = Area of square - Area of circle

= 36 - 12.56

= 23.44 cm²

∴Area of the left over aluminium sheet is 23.44 cm²
