Here radius of the circle =2cm

area of the circle A

1

=πr

2

=3.14×(2)

2

=3.14×4

=12.56cm

2

side of the aluminium sheet, a=6cm

∴ area of the square shaped aluminium sheet,

A

2

=a

2

=36cm

2

Hence the area of the are aluminum sheet

=A

2

−A

1

=36−12.56

=23.44cm
