Answer:

Area of Sheet left=93.7 sq-cm

cost =1152 Rs

Step-by-step explanation:

A circle of radius 4cm is cut out from a square sheet of 12cm find the area of the remaining sheet also find the cost of whole sheet at rs.8 per cm^2

Area of square sheet:

  = {(side)}^{2}  \\  \\  = ( {12)}^{2} \\  \\  = 144 \:  {cm}^{2}   \\  \\

Area of circle:

\pi \:  {r}^{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{22}{7} \times 16 \\  \\  = 50.29 \:  {cm}^{2}   \\

After cut out the circle of radius=4 cm

Area of Sheet left= 144-50.29

=93.7 sq-cm

Cost of whole sheet at Rs 8 per. sq-cm

 = 144 \times 8 \\  \\  = 1152 \: rs \\  \\

Hope it helps you.
