 {\huge {\mathfrak {Answer :-}}}

Distance of the chord from the centre is

= [5^2 - (6/2)^2]^1/2

= [25 - 3^2]^1/2

= [25 - 9]^1/2

= [16]^1/2

= 4.

➡️ <b>The chord is 4 cm far from the centre </b>

That's it..

Answer:let O be the center

Ab be the chord and OA be the radius

Construct om perpendicular to chord Ab

We get triangle OMA

With OA=5cm(radius)

Ma=3cm (perpendicular from center bisects the chord)

Therefore by Pythagoras theorem

Om=4cm

Therefore the chord is 4cm from the center of the circle
