circle of radius =8 cm
if radius decreased by 2cm
then new radius =8 cm-2cm = 6cm
older circle area= pi*r^2= pi*8^2= 64pi
new circle area= pi*r^2= pi*6^2= 36pi
Area diffrence= 28pi
the question is not clear here..yet I solved a similar type of problem in this platform in that they are asking for approximate percentage decrease in area
So, I am solving by considering the same problem statement
approximate percentage decrease in area = (28pi/ 64pi) *100= 43.75%
hope it helped you.. please mark it as branlist answer !!
