Question :

A circle is inscribed in a square of side 42 cm.Find the area of circle.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

Solution :

Side of square = 42 cm

Diameter of circle = 42 cm (because the circle is inscribed in a circle so, side of square = diameter of circle)

Radius of circle = 21cm

 \boxed {\underline {\bf Area \: of \: circle = \pi r^2 }}

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

 : \implies \sf { Area = \dfrac {22}{7} \times 21 \times 21 }

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

 : \implies \sf {Area  \: of \: circle = 1386cm^2}
