We know that the length of the arc subtended by a central angle of a circle is given by :

L=R*A

where:

L = length of the arc, R = radius of the circle and A = the angle which subtends the arc

IMPORTANT POINT: Angle must be in Radians.

Therefore, in the problem, we have:

L = to be found, R = 15 cm, A = 3.14/6 rad.

Hence: L = 15 * 3.14/6 = 7.85 cm

Hope this helped!
