a circle with a radius of 2 sits inside a circle with a radius of 4 what is the area of the shaded region

Given :-

Radius of larger circle = R = 4 unit

Radius of smaller circle = r = 2 unit

Required Area = Area of Bigger Circle - Area of smaller circle.

Required Area = π(-r²)

Required Area = 22/7 (4²-2²)

Required Area = 22/7[(4+2)(4-2)]

Required Area = 22/7 × 12

Required Area = 264/7 sq. unit
