Calculate the effective resistance.

Answer:

6Ω and 3Ω resistors are in parallel, so their equivalent resistance-

1/6+1/3 = 2 Ω

This 2 Ω resistors is connected with 1Ω resistor in series.

So, equivalent resistance of the network-

2Ω +1Ω = 3Ω
