A circuit has a fuse of 10 ampere. What is the maximum number of 60W(220V) bulbs can be safely used in a circuit?

Current = 10 A

Power= 60 W

PD = 220 V

P=V*I

I=P/V

= 60/220 = 3/11 AMPERE

Current in 1 bulb = 3/11 A

Current in 1 bulb * no of bulbs = 10 amplere

3/11 * x = 10

x = 10*11/3

= 37 bulbs
