Area of frame = (Area of clock including frame) - ( Area of clock)

Outer radius will be 7+0.7 = 7.7cm
So, area of frame = pi*{(7.7)^2 - 7^2}

= (22/7)*(7/10)*(14.7)
= 32.34cm^2
