Answer :

Area of plane = 100 cm²

Angle of inclination = 160°

Strength of magnetic field = 0.2 T

We have to find magnetic flux associated with circular coil.

Diagram :

Refer to the attachment!

\star Magnetic flux associated with a plane placed in a uniform magnetic field at an angle θ is given by

  • ϕ = B A = BA cosθ

ϕ denotes magnetic flux

B denotes magnetic field

A denotes area

θ denotes angle b/w B and A

Conversion :

  • 1 cm² = 0.0001 m²

∴ 100 cm² = 100/10000 = 0.01 m²

Calculation :

➙ ϕ = BA cosθ

➙ ϕ = 0.2 × 0.01 × cos60°

➙ ϕ = 0.002 × 1/2

ϕ = 0.001 Tm²
