Answer:

10 seconds

Explanation:

Given:

Circumference of the circle = 314 metres

The person travels from A to B around circular track (The semi circular path)

Velocity in semi circular path = 15.7 m/s

To find:

Time taken for travelling from A to B along the circular path

We know that:

Circumference of the circle = 314m = 2\pi r

2 \times 3.14 \times r = 314

6.28r = 314

r = \frac{314}{6.28}

r=50 \  metres

The person travels from A to B in circular path so the person will travel a distance of \frac{circumference}{2}

Distance travelled by the person = 157 metres

Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

Time = \frac{157}{15.7}

Time = 10 seconds

The time taken is equal to 10 seconds
