Radius of each cone = 4 cm , curved surface area of each cone = 150.7 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

a circular disc of radius 12 cm is cut into three equal parts

Circumference of circular disc = 2 * π  * 12

= 24 π cm

Cut into three parts

Arc length of each segment =  24 π/3  =  8 π cm

Now this arc length will become circumference of base of cone

& radius of circular disc will become slant height of cone

Slant height of cone = 12 cm

Circumference of base of cone = 2 π * Radius of cone

2 π * Radius of cone = 8 π

=> Radius of cone = 4 cm

curved surface area of cone = π * 4  * 12  =  48π  cm²

= 150.7 cm²
