Given, Radius of circular disc = 14 cm.

Now, Circumference of the disc = 2πr = 2(22/7)(14)=2(22)(2)=88cm

The disc is divided into two half's. So, Each of them is a semicircle whose circumference is Equal to half of the circle circumference and diameter

Circumference of each part = πr + d = 88/2 + 2(14) = 44 + 28 = 72 cm.

now if we divided it into two parts





now , big circumference comes to be =>
2πr => 2*22/7*14cm =>


88 cm



hence circumference of each parts will be =>

88cm /2

=> 44cm


now ,we add diameter because each circle comes into " SEMICIRCLE"


so total diameter will be = 14+14 = 28 cm


here, we have already find out the perimeter of arc that is = 44cm
so for finding CIRCUMFERENCE of half circle. we will add diameter. that is = 28 cm




hence , we get the value of each CIRCUMFERENCE of circle is = 44cm + 28cm

=> 72 cm

hence , your require ANSWER IS 72cm
