Given :

Radius of circular disc , R = 4 cm = 0.04 m .

Charge density ,

\sigma=10\ nC/m^2\\\sigma = 10\times 10^{-9}\ C/m^2\\\sigma=10^{-8}\ C/m^2

To Find :

The electric field at a distance of 3 cm perpendicular to plane of disc .

Solution :

We know , electric filed on the axis of a disc is given by :

E=\dfrac{\sigma}{2\epsilon_o}[1-\dfrac{r}{\sqrt{R^2+r^2}}]

Putting all values we get :

E=\dfrac{10^{-8}}{2\times 8.85\times 10^{-12}}[1-\dfrac{0.03}{\sqrt{0.04^2+0.03^2}}]\\\\E=225.98\ N/C
