A circular field has a perimeter of 660m. A plot in the shape of square having its vertices on the circumference is marked. Calculate the area of square plot.

2 x 22/7 x r =660

44/7 x r =660

r = 660  x 7/44

  = 30 x 3.5

  =  105

IN ΔABD

105² = AB² +AD²

105²= 2AB²

105= 2AB

AB= 52.5

SO SIDE OF SQUARE IS 52.5

AREA OF SQUARE = 52.5 x 52.5

                                = 2765.25
