Diameter of the flower bed = 36cm
Internal Radius = r= 36/2cm= 18cm
External radius=R= (36+4+4)/2 cm
44/2cm= 22cm
Area of the path = π (R²-r²)
= 22/7× (R+r)(R-r)
= 22/7 × (22+18)(22-18)
=22/7× 40×4
= 3520/7cm²
=502.86cm² ( approximately)
