Radius of the area covered by sprinkler (r) = 22 m

Area covered by the sprinkler = πr²

Area covered = 22/7×22×22

= 10648/7

= 1521.143 m² (approx.)

Area of the garden = 314 cm² (lesser than area covered by sprinkler)

Yes, the whole garden will be sprinkled because area of garden is lesser than area convered by sprinkler.

Answer:

Area of the flower garden = 314 m square

Radius of the circular portion covered by the sprinkler = 12 m

∴ Area = 7πr square  = 3.14 × 12 × 12

= 3.14 × 144 m square  = 452.16 m square

Since 452.16 m square  > 314 m square

Yes, the sprinkler will water the entire garden.
