Answer:

Let 'r' be the radius of the circular park and R the radius of the outer circle consisting of the circular park and the road surrounding it.

Circumference of the circular park= 352m

2πr = 352m

r \:  =  \frac{352 \times 7}{2 \times 22}  = 56m \\  \\

Since the inner radius is 56m and the width of the road is 7m.

R = (r + 7)m = (56 +7)m = 63m

Area of the road = πR² - πr² = π( - )

[ \frac{22}{7} ( {63}^{2}  -  {56}^{2} )] {m}^{2}  = [ \frac{22}{7} (63 + 56)(63 - 56)] {m}^{2}  \\  \\  = ( \frac{22}{7}  \times 119 \times 7) {m}^{2}  = 2618 {m}^{2}

hence, the area of the road is 2618m².
