A circular garden of diameter 140m has a 3.5m wide path all round on the outside. find thr area of the path?

Diameter of circular garden = 140 m.

Radius of of circular garden = 140 ÷ 2

= 70 m.

area \: of \: circle \:  = \pi {r}^{2}

Area of circular garden = πr²

= 22/7 × ( 70 )²

= 22/7 × 4900

= 22/1 × 700

= 22 × 700

= 15400 m²

Radius of path include radius of garden = 3.5 + 70

= 73.5 m.

Area of the whole garden = πr²

= 3.14 × ( 73.5 )²

= 3.14 × 5402.25

= 16963.065 m²

Area of the path = ( area of garden - area of path )

= ( 15400 - 16963.065 ) m²

= 1563.065 m²
