a circular garden of radius 25 m has a concentric fountain of radius 3m. find the area of the garden avilable for the children to play in.​

Note: Two circles are said to be concentric when their centres coincide with each other.

Now,

Area in which children can play = ar(C(O,R)) - ar(C(O,r))

⇒ Area = πR² - πr² = π(R + r)(R - r)

⇒ Area = 22/7 · (25 + 3) · (25 - 3)

⇒ Area = 22/7 · 28 · 22

⇒ Area = 22 · 22 · 4

⇒ Area = 1936 m²

So, the answer is 1936 m².
