Answer:

770

Step-by-step explanation:

A circular grass lawn of 14 metres in radius has a path 7 metres wide running around it on the outside. Find the area of the path.

Now radius of a circular grass lawn without path = 14 m

We know that Area = π r^2

                               = 22/7 x 14 x 14

                                = 616  sq m

Radius of a circular grass lawn with path

                              = 14 + 7

                              = 21 m

Now Area = π r^2

                = 22/7 x 21 x 21

                = 1386  sq m

So area of path = 1386 – 616

                         = 770 sq m

Area of path is 770 sq m
