Diameter of the hall is = 28m.

Radius = 14m.

Height of the hall = 9m.

Then, area of the walls = surface area of a cylinder is = circumference of any one top circle * height of cylinder

=2 * pi * r * 9

= 2 * 22/7 * 14 * 9

=792 m2

Cost of painting 1 m2 = Rs. 20

Therefore, cost of painting the wall(surface area of the cylinder) = Rs.( 20 * 792) = Rs. 15840

Hence, the volume of the hall = volume of a cylinder = pi * r2 * height = (22/7 * 142 * 9) m3 = 5544 m3
