R=84 m

A=π*R²=(22/7)*(84)²=22176 m²

Let the area and radius of the lawn with the pathway be a and r respectively.

r=84+3.5=87.5 m

a=π*r²=(22/7)*(87.5)²=24062.5 m²

Area of the pathway laid=a-A

=24062.5-22176

=1886.5 m²
