A circular loop placed in a plane perpendicular to the plane of paper carries a current when the
key is ON. The current as seen from one face A and other face B (in the plane of paper and on
the axis of the coil) is anti-clockwise and clockwise respectively. The magnetic field lines point
from B to A. Which face will attract North pole of a bar magnet and why?

The face A will attract the north pole. According to the question, the magnetic field lines point from B to A. It is conventionally taken that the magnetic field lines go from north to south. Hence,

B - North

A- South.

We know, that unlike poles attract. Hence, A will attract north pole.

Answer:face A will attract Cause they say that the magnetic field is goin anti clockwise which means from B to A sooo....

Therefore we understand that B is north pole and A is South Pole

Since unlike poles attract A will attract the North Pole. In the pic below I have written current but it’s actually magnetic field.
