Inner radius = 42/2 = 21m

Outer radius = 21 + 3 = 24m

Inner area = 2πr = 2×3.14× 21 = 131.88m²

Outer area = 2πr = 2×3.14×24 = 150.72m²

Therefore area of the path = 150.72 - 131.88 = 18.84m²
