Given data:-

  • A circular park of 10 m radius is surrounded by 2 m circular path.

Solution:-

Accirding to given

—› Radius of circular park ( r ) = 10 m

Now, we find perimeter of circular park

—› Perimeter of circular park

= 2πr

—› Perimeter of circular park

= 2 × 22/7 × 10

—› Perimeter of circular park

= 44/7 × 10

—› Perimeter of circular park

= 440/7

—› Perimeter of circular park

= 62.8571 m (approx)

—› Perimeter of circular park with circular path = 2π(r + 2)

—› Perimeter of circular park with circular path = 2 × 22/7 × (10 + 2 )

—› Perimeter of circular park with circular path = 2 × 22/7 × 12

—› Perimeter of circular park with circular path = 44/7 × 12

—› Perimeter of circular park with circular path = 528/7

—› Perimeter of circular park with circular path = 75.4285 (approx)

To find perimeter of circular path subtract {Perimeter of circular park with circular path } from { Perimeter of circular park }

Hence, here

—› Perimeter of circular path

= 75.4285 - 62.8571

—› Perimeter of circular path

= 12.5714 m

Hence, area of circular path is 12.5714 m
