Let radius of Area (A)= Radius of circular park +radius of road
=12+4=16 cm
Using Area of Circle= pi.r²
A=pi×16²
=pi×256
Area of circular Park(a)=pi*12²
=pi*144
Now Area of Circular Road= A-a

=pi.*256-pi*144
=pi(256-144)
=pi(112)
=2464/7
=352 cm²
Area of the road= 352 cm²

Hope this helps you.

Answer:

area of the road = 352cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let radius of Area (A)= Radius of circular park +radius of road

=12+4=16 cm

Using Area of Circle= pi.r²

A=pi×16²

=pi×256

Area of circular Park(a)=pi*12²

=pi*144

Now Area of Circular Road= A-a

=pi.*256-pi*144

=pi(256-144)

=pi(112)

=2464/7

=352 cm²

Area of the road= 352 cm²
