A circular Park of radius 20 metre is situated in a Colony. Three boys Ankur, Saeed and David are sitting at equal distance on its boundary each having a toy telephone in his hands to talk to each others. Find the length of the string of each phone?

Let The length of string of phone = x m

According to question

As they are sitting on circular path

So, Total length of phone string = circumference of circular path of string

i.e  x = 2 × π × radius

Or,  x = 2 × 3.14 × r

Or, x =  2 × 3.14 × 20

∴    x = 125.6 m

So , The length of string of phone = x = 125.6 m

Now, There were three friend

So, The length of string is divided into three each length

i.e The length of the string of each phone = \dfrac{length of string}{3}

∴   The length of the string of each phone = \dfrac{125.6 m}{3}

i.e   The length of the string of each phone = 41.8 m
