==========================

A circular park of radius 21 m has a road 7m wide all around outside it.

area of the circle without the path

=> radius = 21 cm

area of circle =
π²*radius

                       = 22/7*21*21

                       =  1386 m²

there is 7 m in both sides

=> radius of whole park  = 21 +7 = 28m

area of circle [including path ] π²*radius

                       = 22/7*28*28

                       =  2464 m²

area of path =
area of circle [including path ] - area of the circle without the path

=>2464 - 1386

=>1078m²

area of path = 1078m²

=======================================

hope it helps

sarthakthegreat: it is wrong you took the wrong formula idiot
sarthakthegreat: it is pi×r×r not 2×pi×r.2xpixr is the formula for perimeter

area of the path=area of the property-area of the circle
let the area of the path be X
X=22/7×28×28- 22/7×21×21
X=2464-1386
X=1078 square meters ans
