Radius (r) = 30 m
Width of the track (w) = 2.5 m
We know that ,
diameter (d) = 30×2
=60 m

Now,
d+2(w)
=60+2(2.5)
=65 m : This is the diameter of the whole circle
Area of the circular park (A1)= 3.14×30^2
=2826m^2
Area of the whole circle (A2) = 3.14×65^2÷4
=3316.625m^2

=3316.625-2826
=490.625 m^2 is the area of track.

Answer:

451.375 m squared

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that area of circle=pi*R squared

so we need to subtract area of the park minus width of the track from the area of the whole circle.

we can denote R as the radius of the whole circle and r as the radius of the inner circle before the track.

r is equaled to 27.5(30 minus 2.5)

so the formula= pi*R squared minus pi*r squared which is equaled to:

pi*(R squared minus r squared) :

3.14*(30 squared minus 27.5 squared)=

3.14*(900-756.25)=

3.14*143.75=

451.3750

hence, the area of the track is  451.375 m squared
