given,
C of smaller circle=88m
width of path= 2m
circumference =88
2πr=88
r=88×7/2×22
=14m
r of bigger circle=14+2=16m
area of circular path =π(R^2-r^2)
=22/7(16×16-14×14)
=22/7(256-196)
=22/7×60cmsq.
cost of tilling=22/7×60×39
=rs 735.42
plz reply it's correct or not

Answer:

Rs.7354.23

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference of circular field = 2 \pi r

we are given that the circumference of circular filed is 88 m

So, 2 \pi r=88

2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r=88

 r=\frac{88 \times 7}{22 \times 2}

 r=14

We are given that A circular path of width 2 m runs around the circular field

So, outer radius R = 14+2 = 16 m

The area of the circular path=Outer area - inner area

                                              =\pi R^2-\pi r^2

                                              =\frac{22}{7}(16^2-14^2)

                                              =188.57m^2

Cost of tiling 1 sq.m. = Rs.39

Cost of tiling 188.57 sq.m. = 188.57 \times 39 =7354.23

Hence the cost of tiling the path at the rate of rs. 39 per m square is Rs.7354.23
