Area of a rectangle = length × breadth

 = 5 \times 3

 = 15 {cm}^{2}

Area of the circle = π r^2

 = \pi \times 2 \times 2

 = 3.142 \times 4

 = 12.57 {cm}^{2}

Area of the remaining area = A(□) - A(○)

 = 15 - 12.57

 = 2.43 {cm}^{2}
