Answer:

given  = area of cros section = 6 x 10³m²

             weight = 60Kg = 60 x 10= 600N

             g = 10m/sec²

to find   = pressure on the pillar.

solution =  pressure = F / A

                                =  600N / 6x10³m²

                                =  10²/10³

                                =  10⁵Nm²

so ,the pressure on the pillar is 10⁵Nm²

Answer:

10⁵Nm²

Explanation:

given  = area of cros section = 6 x 10³m²

            weight = 60Kg = 60 x 10= 600N

            g = 10m/sec²

to find   = pressure on the pillar.

solution =  pressure = F / A

                               =  600N / 6x10³m²

                               =  10²/10³

                               =  10⁵Nm²

so ,the pressure on the pillar is 10⁵Nm²
