a circular plot of land is of radius 35 metre and has a part 7 M wide running around it on the outside find the cost of gravelling the path at 10 rupees per square metre

Area = πr^2

= 22/7 * 35 * 35

= 3850 m^2

Radius of The Plot including Path = 35 + 7

= 42 m

Area = πr^2

= 22/7 * 42 * 42

= 5544 m^2

So, Area of Path

= Area of Plot including Path - Area of Plot

= 5544 - 3850

= 1694 m^2

Cost of Gravelling per m^2 = ₹10

Hence, Cost of Gravelling 1694 m^2

= 1694 * 10

= ₹16940
