Area of the pond = \pi r^{2}

= 22/7 x 14 x 14

= 22 x 2 x 14

= 44 x 14

= 616m^{2}

Width of the path = 7m

Diameter of the pond including the path = 35

Radius of the pond including the path = 35/2

Area of the of the pond including the path = \pi r^{2}

= 22/7 x 35/2 x 35/2

= 962.5m^{2}

Area of the path = 962.5m^{2} - 616m^{2}

= 346.5m^{2}
