In the above question the diameter of a circular pond is given and it is said that a path 3.5 m wide is to be constructed at ₹25 and it is asked to find the cost for constructing that path and for that here is the answer:-

Inner diameter = 21 m

Inner radius(r) = 21/2 = 10.5 m

Outer radius(R) = 10.5+3.5 = 14 m

Area of circular path = π(R^2-r^2)

= 22/7[(14)^2-(10.5)^2]

= 22/7(196-110.25)

= 22/7×85.75

= 269.5 m^2

Cost for construction = 25×269.5

= ₹6737.50

Hope this answer will help you.
