Diameter of outer circle = 8 cm

=> Radius of outer circle = 4 cm

Diameter of inner circle = 6 cm

=> Radius of inner circle = 3 cm

Area of circular ring =

Area of outer circle- Area of inner circle

= 2π × 4² - 2π × 3²

= 2π ( 7)

=14π
